API v0.1.0 · early access

Audio analysis and processing, one job at a time.

Send AudioKit a link to a file and the job you want done. It checks the file, does the work and calls your webhook. Originals are never changed, and every result records exactly what produced it.

How a job runs

  1. 1 · Submit

    One request per job

Your job_id is the idempotency key. Retry freely: the same request never runs twice.

  2. 2 · Verify

    Checked before it runs

AudioKit downloads from your signed URL and rejects any file whose sha256 doesn't match.

  3. 3 · Process

    Originals untouched

New files go to upload URLs you give it. Results carry the input hash, AudioKit version and settings.

  4. 4 · Deliver

    Signed webhooks

HMAC-signed events, retried for hours if your endpoint is down. The job is always one GET away.

10 operations

Everything in API v0.1.0. GET /v1/capabilities lists what the server runs right now.

For agents, too

AI agents can use AudioKit through MCP, with the same jobs and the same API keys: submit jobs, wait for results and run the analysis operations as tools. MCP is rolling out in early access.

MCP server

Built on a contract

The API is described by an OpenAPI 3.1 contract that its tests check against the server, and these docs are generated from it. Generate your client from the same file.
